View news filtered by: Talk

Join the team from Bugfest for an unforgettable encounter with some many-legged beasties in this creepy show.

Head on over to Action Stations to meet creepy-crawlies of all kinds at Bugfest!

Learn about the importance of invertebrates to the survival of all life here on planet Earth. From Deathwatch beetles, to giant centipedes, scorpions and much more, get up close to a wide range of interesting new friends. For the grown-ups in attendance, you’ll have the opportunity to handle some tarantulas (just be careful as they’re very delicate).

Our Conservation team will also be on hand to reveal the vital work researching Deathwatch Beetles on HMS Victory. These tiny but mighty insects are now one of the major threats to the ship.

Shows take place at 10.30am, 12.15pm, and 2pm on Monday 28 October in Action Station's First Floor Horizon Suite.  Entry to the event is included with a valid ticket to Action Stations.
