We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Admiral of the Fleet Lord Michael Boyce KG GCB OBE DL who passed away on Sunday 6 November 2022.
Lord Boyce was the first Chair of the Victory Preservation Company, a charity formed by the National Museum of the Royal Navy with the express purpose of driving forward the conservation of the nation’s flagship HMS Victory. Over a period of some nine years he brought his drive, determination, keen eye for detail and his incisive mind to that task. His commitment was unwavering. He will be deeply mourned both by current and past Trustees and by the team working on this unique project.
