Code a ship-robot to navigate around an ‘ocean floor’ and collect all the ‘sounds of the sea’ to complete the challenge.
Unlock a world of robotics play with EdTech start-up Sniff + Snails.
In this workshop, you will learn how to program Eli the ship-bot to travel around the ‘ocean-floor’ and collect ‘sounds of the sea’ – from bugles to sea shanties.
The workshop will begin with a whistle-stop exploration into mind-blowing, jaw-dropping technologies that already exist.
With excitement levels raised, it’s time to get hands-on. First, you’ll learn how to program Eli the ship-bot to move. Next, you will have 30 minutes to navigate Eli around the ‘ocean-floor’ and collect as many ‘sounds of the sea’ as you can.
At the end of the workshop, you will be provided with a Sniff + Snails goodie bag to take home.
No coding experience required. All abilities welcome. Ages 7+
