Calling all historic aviation enthusiasts! You are invited to a special collaboration between the Fleet Air Arm Museum and Navy Wings. Get up close and personal to the collections of both organisations in this joint event.

Your day will start at the museum, where you will be given a Tour of the museum by one of our knowledgeable Tour Guides, learning all about the history of the Fleet Air Arm and its iconic aircraft. After your tour concludes, you will then have the opportunity to explore the museum at your leisure revisiting any areas of particular interest such as the Aircraft Carrier Experience, or Barracuda Live: The Big Rebuild.

You will also have the opportunity to grab some lunch and visit our gift shop (please note that this is not covered in your ticket cost- you are welcome to purchase food and drink from Warneford’s café, or bring your own food).

At 1:30pm, you will be picked up by coach from the museum car park, and whisked across to the other side of the airfield for a visit to Navy Wings. Situated in the heart of RNAS Yeovilton, Navy Wings is generally not accessible to the public so this is a great chance to visit the heritage hangar and get up close to these historic aircraft.

Following a meet and greet with Navy Wings Chief Engineer, who will deliver an in depth engineering update, you will then have an opportunity to explore the hangar. Here you can meet the engineering team, and visit the restoration area to see ongoing projects, such as the Sea Hawk and Swordfish LS326. Your day will conclude at 3:30pm, when you will be returned to the museum car park.

This day long event is not to be missed, with all proceeds supporting the heritage of naval aviation.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO BRING PHOTOGRAPHIC ID ON THE DAY.
