The Matchstick Fleet by Philip Warren is making it's return to the museum! Come and see a hand-crafted fleet all made with matchsticks!
A selection of Philip Warren’s Matchstick Fleet, a culmination of a lifetime’s work, goes on display at the Fleet Air Arm Museum. The collection, built entirely from matches and matchboxes, spans 525 ships and 1000 aircraft.
It includes the ships of the Royal Navy and beyond, illustrating the development of warships from the end of the Second World War right up to the present day.
This exhibition is free with a valid museum ticket.
