We have private tours available onboard two of the most famous warships in the United Kingdom, HMS Victory and HMS Warrior, both located within Portsmouth’s Historic Dockyard. Our private tours are available to book exclusively, as well as an add on to your private event hire or as part of a large group booking.
Behind the Scenes Experience
Step behind the scenes with a one hour curator-led tour at the National Museum of the Royal Navy’s collections centre in Storehouse 12. Delve into the legacy of Admiral Lord Nelson and HMS Victory as you explore rare artefacts and gain exclusive insights into our collection.
Availability: Monday – Friday | 10am – 4pm

Price: £300 flat fee, plus an additional £18pp
Exclusive After-Hours Tour: HMS Victory or HMS Warrior
Step aboard HMS Victory or HMS Warrior for a private, one-hour guided tour outside of regular opening hours. Led by an expert guide, this immersive experience offers exclusive insights into the ship’s remarkable history.

VIP HMS Warrior Experience
Step aboard HMS Warrior for an exclusive High Tea in the Captain’s Cabin, followed by a private one-hour guided tour of Britain’s first iron-hulled warship.

Price: £200 flat fee, then £85pp
VIP HMS Victory Experience
Indulge in an exclusive VIP experience aboard HMS Victory, featuring an elegant High Tea in Captain Hardy’s Cabin, followed by an extended 1.5-hour private tour of this legendary warship.
To remember the experience, a coaster made with reclaimed HMS Victory wood and a souvenir guidebook is included to take home with you.

Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is just off junction 12 of the M27, follow the brown and white signs to ‘Historic Dockyard’ which will lead you to our official car park which is located only 400 yards from the entrance at Victory Gate. If this car park is full there are others within close proximity at Gunwharf Quays and Havant Street.

The nearest train station is Portsmouth Harbour, and then it is a 5 minute walk to Victory Gate
