Portsmouth Historic Dockyard has been awarded Visitor Attraction of the Year in The News Excellence Awards. The prestigious award recognises the exceptional contribution of the Dockyard, which offers a world-class visitor experience and the chance to view iconic ships such as HMS Victory, HMS Warrior and the Mary Rose.
Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, operated as a partnership between the Mary Rose Museum and the National Museum of the Royal Navy, is thrilled to announce that it has been honoured with "The News Excellence Award" in the category of Visitor Attraction/Event of the Year.
This prestigious award recognises the exceptional contributions of Portsmouth Historic Dockyard in offering a world-class visitor experience and celebrating the rich maritime heritage of the City, and of the United Kingdom as a whole.
Dominic Jones, CEO of the Mary Rose Museum, said,
