FAQs

Off-peak rates apply mid-week or from October to March, while peak season runs from April to September.

Our historic venues are very delicate due to their age and structure, requiring continuous conservation, therefore we ask that you work with our approved event suppliers who are experts in their field and know our venues as well as we do.

Yes, we are able to offer discount if you are a military personnel wishing to marry at one of our venues. Please let our Event Manager know upon enquiry and they will be able to discuss this with you in more detail.

The decks of our historic ships are sensitive to marking from sharp objects, therefore we ask that the heels of the shoes are larger than a 5p coin or that heel protectors are worn. These are available to purchase from us or you are welcome to bring your own.

You will find details of our recommended decor specialists and florists in our Preferred Supplier List. For low key small decorative items, please discuss this with your Event Manager who will be able to advise further. Please note that helium balloons, confetti, dry ice, sparklers and candles are not permitted on the ship. We do however welcome alternative battery powered candles.

  • Testimonials
We have very proud family connections to the Royal Navy and military. The ship was a poignant part of our day - lending us an intimate venue and atmosphere for the ceremony and incredible photo opportunities including climbing the rig for photos with our 5 children. Having a moment to catch our breath and have a glass of bubbly in the Captain's cabin was a very special moment too

  • Testimonials
We were brainstorming where we could have our wedding and I joked that it could be on HMS Warrior. I love the dockyards and it’s always been a massive childhood place for me. Johnny said I wonder if you can get married on board. Once we looked into it, it became apparent that it’s possible so from that moment our mind was made up! Best decision ever

  • Testimonials
Our first flat together was across the road from the dockyard and we had a roof terrace that overlooked the Warrior so it was our view every day when we started the next stage of our life together. We chose HMS Warrior as we wanted a venue that we would be able to wander past and reminisce about our wedding in years to come and also a place that meant something to us both.
