Get ready for a swashbuckling good time as the National Museum of the Royal Navy Hartlepool introduces an exciting new addition for 2024: pirate birthday parties! Perfect for young adventurers, these parties offer an unforgettable journey into the world of swashbuckling pirates, fascinating history, and endless fun.

This brand-new addition is part of the ever-popular Horrible Histories® Pirates exhibition and builds in interactive elements, as well as a private party room and plenty of grog (well, unlimited juice refills but real pirates would have probably needed the Vitamin C).

The Horrible Histories® Pirates exhibition, based on the world’s best-selling children’s history book series by Terry Deary and illustrator Martin Brown, provides youngsters with an action-packed insight into the mysterious and murky world of pirates across the ages. Now, alongside this much-loved experience, the museum is offering pirate-themed parties to give children an even more hands-on and exciting visit.
