Ahoy, young adventurers! The National Museum of the Royal Navy Hartlepool is thrilled to announce a new addition for 2024: exciting pirate-themed birthday parties! To celebrate this launch, we’re hosting a competition where one lucky birthday child can win a FREE pirate party!
What You Could Win
One lucky child and up to 11 of their friends will enjoy an unforgettable pirate adventure, usually valued at £13 per child (our pirate parties are for children aged 4 and up).
The Adventure Awaits
Each pirate party is a journey into a world of swashbuckling excitement.
- Interactive Adventure: Our parties are packed with thrilling activities that will delight both kids and parents alike. Little pirates will unleash their inner buccaneers and have a blast!
- Historical Exploration: Visit the HMS Trincomalee, Europe’s oldest warship still afloat, for a hair-raising adventure that’ll get hearts pumping!
- Epic Battles: Join our Cutlass Class, where seasoned instructors will safely teach swordplay. Your little swashbucklers will learn to parry and riposte like true pirates!
- Adventure Play Ship: Practice pirate skills and set sail on exciting imaginary journeys, building confidence and coordination.
- Exclusive Party Room: After the adventures, retreat to our exclusive pirate party room. Enjoy a hearty feast of pizza or hotdogs with unlimited juice refills.
- Special Gifts: The birthday pirate will choose their treasure—a classic pirate hat or an activity book. Plus, you can opt to send the entire crew home with their own treasures for an additional cost.
- Free Returns: Each young pirate will receive a voucher for free museum admission for a year, valid when accompanied by a paying adult. Relive the pirate fun anytime within the next 12 months!

Terms and Conditions
The competition closes at midnight on 31st August
The winner will be contacted via telephone or email.
Coordinate with our Event Manager to book your party date (contact information will be given at confirmation of winning).
The winner will have 3 months from notification to contact the Event Manager to book their party. The party date must be within 12 months of first contacting us to book.
By entering, you consent to photos being taken during the party for future marketing purposes.
